Clara’s love of art started with a friendly gesture, an invite to an art class. 13 years later under the instruction of Wilson CC and Barton College she developed her mediums of oils, acrylic, pastels & water colors. Creating a series of presentational

paintings of her love for animals of Horses, Dogs, and Cats. Over the years she continues to expand and improve on her skills of various techniques of portrait, abstract, and landscapes. Viewing Clara’s

style today is like watching a Phoenix merge from her emotional expression of survivor’s strength of fleeting moments that take your breath away. From her heart to the pallet knife, it gives her the freedom of self-expression revealing a reflection of her power of perseverance.

Andrea Horton- Morton

Andrea fell in love with art at a young age by watching her mother utilizing her talent of painting and photography. Her artistic vision has evolved to Native American symbolism “ Life’s Journey”. Her multimedia techniques inspire her to create artwork that flourishes with 3D composition, expression, and story

telling. Her life’s journey has taken her down many roads that had it ups and downs and yet she always looks at the brighter side of the situation and uses it

to expands her technique to help her overcome any obstacles. Andrea’s evolution of art progresses her creativity into unique artwork that inspires her to

keep moving forward through life’s journey of self-discovery and victorious triumphs.

Susan S. Webb

Susan’s interpretation “Life Is Art” demonstrates the elegance of her artwork. Her eyes sees all the beauty in nature with the shadows of the sunlight, the bright colors of the flowers, and the simmering of the ocean. Living on the coast of North Carolina gave her the inspiration to capture the radiance in all things in nature. Her travels around the country heightened her prospective of vibrant colors that come to life in her series of representational paintings. Her artwork convey her intimate outlook on lighthouses and the ocean’s magnificent colors. Susan’s delightful outlook on life harmoniously balances her artwork

and continues to challenge her to discover new ways of expressing through her art. Adventure awaits to new exploration in Expressionistic art.
